Rest in Peace, Uncle
After 4 days struggling at the hospital, my uncle passed away on Thursday morning, March 2. He suffered from liver xerosis which made his liver malfunction. It’s getting worse since he also got Hepatitis B.
He was under the treatment of Intensive Care Unit after having blood puke on Friday, February 26. My aunt said he was first being sick on 2005. Several medication made him better. But, this last two years my uncle started to have some serious illness. The peak of his suffering was on Friday when he had melena which made him having blood puke.
It was really heart breaking moment during his funeral ceremony. Considering he left two children who still really need te affection of a father. My uncle has two children. The older one is a 17 years old girl and the younger one is a 12 years old boy. Perhaps, It’s very difficult time for Ana, the older child. She will be graduate from highschool this year and starting to get college. At the end of this month she will have national examination for her highschool graduation. Any daughter always wants to have her father smile at the graduation day and any father will be proud to see his daughter getting in university. It won’t happen for my cousin anyway. She must be very sad. For the younger brother, It will be so difficult to grow up without a figure of a father.
I wish all the best for my cousins. It won’t be easy to live without father. But in the end, I believe they will grow up amazingly. They will be mature in advance leaving their friends at the same age. Their father will be proud of them. At least, for the time being, their father will not suffering anymore. Rest in peace, uncle. So long and good night.
